Celebrity is dominating the top 10 list of Netflix Philippines, and it comes as no surprise. The show is helmed by Kim Chul Gyu, who has also directed Flower of Evil, Confession, and Mother. Park Gyu Young stars as Seo Ah-ri, a former rich girl who now works as a door-to-door cosmetics saleswoman to make a living. She experiences a riches to rags to riches story after reluctantly signing up for her first Instagram account, and begins her meteoric rise to social media stardom as one of South Korea’s top influencers.
Of course, when a show is centered around the entertainment industry, it only makes sense to include other stars in whatever role best suits them (and fits their schedule). From short cameos to prominent multi-episode appearances, Celebrity is definitely a star-studded affair.
