The Filipino Netflix production Doll House, which stars Baron Geisler, is certainly the movie of the moment! Not only has it kept a cozy place on Netflix Philippines’ Top 1 movie spot since its release, the sentimental film has even earned its standing as Top 17 worldwide!
And it isn’t only us that’s been on the crying end of the tearjerker. Online, Filipino celebrities have shared their sentiments—and evidence of tears—after watching Doll House, with a much-deserved ovation to its lead actor, Baron.

Paolo Contis
Baron’s long-time friend and Tabing Ilog co-star shared a tear-stained selfie snapped after watching the film. He even joked that his distressed shirt couldn’t be spared!
“Ang aga-aga para sa ganitong mga emosyon!” He wrote. “[Pati T-shirt] ko 'di kinaya 'yung acting mo! Congrats brother! Proud of you.”
Baron responded by suggesting their next goal—a project with Mavx Productions, the studio behind Doll House and Paolo’s 2021 film A Faraway Land. “Love you!!” He said. “Movie with you [best friend]!!!”
Ogie Alcasid
Regine Velasquez’s Pangako heavily features in the film’s soundtrack, so it’s no surprise that her husband Ogie Alcasid has his take on the movie! In a tweet, the entertainer praised Baron’s performance.
“Watch #DollHouse on [Netflix]. Maghanda ng tissue,” he wrote. “@GeislerBaron ang husay mo.”
Nikko Natividad
Model, actor, and #Hashtags member Nikko Natividad had a hilarious reaction with a photo proof to boot! Posting a selfie with his tear-soaked shirt, the Kapamilya star captioned on Instagram, “'Kala ko horror 'yung [Doll House] dahil sa [title]. … Kamuntikan na 'kong malunod sa sarili 'kong luha. @baron.geisler napakahusay nyo po!”
He even shared a text convo between his wife where he recommended the movie!
Aga Muhlach
Veteran actor Aga Muhlach also joined the Netflix-going public by sharing his thoughts via Instagram post. With captured stills of the film, Aga wrote, “DOLL HOUSE!!! You guys nailed it! @baron.geisler taas kamay! [emoji]. Pinahanga mo ako! Dami ko iyak dito! Galing mo sobra!”
He also applauded Baron’s co-actors like Althea Ruedas and director Marla Ancheta. Under the post, famous media personalities also chimed in like Christine Babao, Karen Davila, and Aga’s brother, Andrew.
Among the comments section, Baron replied that he was actually influenced by Aga’s acting! “Wow boss @agamuhlach317, coming from you, one of the people I look up to saying this, thanks for appreciating our film,” he said. “To be honest... if you look closely, [medyo] kumuha ako ng acting nyo, mga mata and nuances.”
Aga responded: “I was in awe watching you perform! ['Di] ka bumitaw. Every scene, you gave us something real. Alam na natin what we do when we work but watching you perform in this particular film... pare, 'kaka inspire ka!”
Jason Abalos
Replying to Baron’s video post on Instagram, Kapamilya actor Jason Abalos also had good things to say about his acting! “Brother. Bago [pa] ako sa pag-arte sa iyo ako lagi nakatingin!” he wrote. “Congratulations! Napakahusay mo talaga.”

On an Instagram story, Baron shared a direct message exchange between him and actress Aiko Melendez. “Husay mo dyan sa [scene] na yan pati pag-iyak mo aral,” she wrote. “Basta [magaling].” Baron called it an “unreal” moment!

In response to Baron sharing the news of Doll House ranking at the top charts worldwide, Mr. Pure Energy himself Gary Valenciano was all praise. “So so so very proud of you Baron!!!!!” he wrote.
