ICYMI: Carla Abellana has already moved into her dream home last July. While the actress has usually kept details about her abode private, she opened up some rare personal details about it to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview last December 19, 2023. First up? A new holiday tradition!
"As always, every year I celebrate [Christmas] with my family," she shared, "Magkasama kami, nagno-noche buena, but this time around, sa bagong bahay ko na kami magno-noche buena. So first time 'yun sa bago kong bahay."

Carla proudly refered to her new home as her dream house, mentioning it took about a year and four months to have it built. She described it as a nice mix of classic and traditional Western styles, in clean and timeless neutral colors. "Very simple lang yung façade. Gusto ko kasi ng something classic and traditional para hindi naluluma agad," she explained.

"Medyo may pag-American ng konti yung dating niya pagdating yung interiors. Pero para i-break yung pagka-American niya or standard niya, naglalagay naman ako ng little bits and pieces of mga modern decoration or let's say artwork or pieces of furniture," she further detailed.

Carla also mentioned that she has already settled into her new home. While the actress relocated in July, she has been relatively private about her space, preferring to showcase only a few of her favorite parts of the house, particularly the kitchen.

But apart from this, one of her favorite spots in her new home is, of course, the master's bedroom.

She expounded, "Meron ako kasing anteroom before you get to the master's bedroom. Basically, yun yung parang magiging first or initial room bago ka makakapasok sa mismong bedroom." She shared that this is where she usually hangs out, watches TV, and have quick bites.
The biggest part of her home is the audio-visual room, where she intends to entertain people. "Meant talaga siya na doon kami, yung family, yung mga relatives, and even my barkada. Doon kami mag-ha-hang out, doon kami manonood ng movies, enjoy ng coffee, ng drinks, ng food."
The 37-year-old is clearly enjoying domestic bliss as she recently posted more snaps from her home with the caption: "Who’d rather stay at home?" and an emoji of a girl raising her hand, indicating herself. With a light and cozy home like hers, we can definitely see ourselves being homebodies, too!

Congratulations, Carla!
