Filipino designer Carl Arcusa expresses his dismay after two sets of tailored suits from his brand were allegedly lost by delivery company Lalamove. In a Facebook post, he details what happened and how Lalamove has yet to help resolve the issue.

According to Carl, the suits from their Holiday 2024 collection were lost while en route to a client. Detailing what happened, he said Lalamove marked the delivery as "completed" even though the suits hadn't reached the intended recipient. They've reached out to Lalamove's customer support but have not yet heard back, noting that the assigned rider has also been unreachable.

"It's such a huge blow to us, not just financially but emotionally, and it's incredibly frustrating," the designer wrote. He advised caution to other small businesses, emphasizing how each piece they create as a start-up fashion brand "is the result of countless hours of hard work, passion, and creativity."

The brand has always trusted various delivery service providers such as Lalamove in previous transactions, but the situation has since shaken his trust, said Carl.

In a follow-up statement, the Cavite-based designer expressed how loyal he and his brand have been to Lalamove and its services. However, he pointed out how others have seemingly experienced similar situations wherein deliveries are marked as completed even though the items have not been received.

Pertaining to the lost items, Carl said they would easily be able to spot their suits if they end up being worn by random people given their unique designs. "We'd definitely recognize them if we ever see them being worn. Fingers crossed they don't show up on someone else!" he expresses.

In his comments section, Carl provided a screenshot showing how the Lalamove app indicated that the delivery was completed despite the suits being lost. "We're still left with no resolution," he says as of writing, October 18.
