There are many places to recharge when it feels like life has thrown too many things at you. Instead of cocooning in your room, we say drop all those things, if only for a moment, and take advantage of the many accessible beaches surrounding Metro Manila for a much-needed break. A three-hour drive from the city will land you in Camperisti at Cocoons at Club Laiya in Batangas. The popular resort now has rentable camper vans parked along the shores of a pristine white beach. Rates start at P13,300 per night.
Camperisti lets you experience the motorhome lifestyle. You'll have all the basic needs inside the vehicle—sans the actual driving of the van, of course. Think a cleverly designed space with multi-functional pieces, all in a zen and calming design. Add in the beach and you've got the elements needed for a quick escape.
Take a look inside Camperisti's cool camper vans in Laiya, Batangas:
As compact as Camperisti's camper vans look from the outside, you'd be surprised at what it packs in: a private bedroom, a toilet and shower, and a dining area with a small kitchen. Plus, it can fit up to four guests maximum.
The private bedroom has a queen size bed that can accommodate two people, while the other two can convert the couch and the dining table into a bed. The washroom, where the sink and toilet are, is in a separate area from the shower room—but both are still inside the camper van.
The kitchen, on the other hand, has an induction stove where you can cook and an electric kettle for heating water. If you're not in the mood to cook or think it a hassle, there's Captain Barnozza, a resto-bar only a few steps away from your stationary vehicle.
The camper van is parked on a brick platform. You can set up a grill and put up tables and chairs in this area for al fresco dining, some dranks, catching up with friends, or simply staring off into the beach, watching as the sunset becomes a starry sky and eventually, heck, all the way until the sun rises again
How can we not mention the best part about Camperisti? Since the camper vans are along the shore, this is as beachfront as beachfront can get. You can opt to chill and take a swim or you can also try Club Laiya's many water activities such as using the kayak, banana boat, and jet ski.
Camperisti is located at Club Laiya, Barangay San Juan, Batangas, rates start at P13,300 per night for two people. You can book a camper van at Camperisti through Klook or by emailing reservations@millenial-resorts.com or calling (8836)-5055.
