The internet is abuzz over BINI Maloi after a comment of hers on TikTok faced backlash from some netizens.
The 22-year-old P-pop idol posted a short but sincere message addressing the issue. "Saw the tweets. I am deeply sorry. It will never be my intention to hurt anyone. I respect everyone regardless of who and what they are," Maloi began in her post. She also pledged to do better, saying, "I will be more careful next time. Thank you to those who educated me nicely. I appreciate you all."

Despite the celebrity not giving enough details about what really happened, some fans were able to provide context for most people. It turns out that there has been a clamor to educate Maloi for recent actions towards a video that reportedly mocked persons with disabilities (PWD).
In a post, an X user posted a screenshot of Maloi laughing at the now-deleted TikTok video. The fans described the video to be discriminatory towards the PWD community, with the person in the video supposedly poking fun at how some persons with disabilities act. Netizens were very much immersed in Maloi's issue that almost everyone chimed in and had their own takes on what happened.

Some fans were very quick to thank Maloi for owning up to her mistake. A fan wrote, "Thank you for addressing the situation with grace and openness." Another commented on how important it is to stay educated about these kinds of matters. "Let's all be open to being educated and help ourselves move forward from this."
