All celebrities and influencers deal with rude comments and harsh critics on a regular basis. It goes without saying that bashing is never acceptable, but some personalities simply don't care about all that negativity.
For example, student vlogger Bella Racelis never really got bothered by haters since she started creating content in her teen years. "One of the cons of being a public figure [is that] you're very exposed to people who won't like you and they will always look for something negative to say about you," she revealed in a YouTube interview with Luis Manzano. "I'm proud of myself for being unbothered ever since. Never talaga akong sobrang naapektuhan."
While Bella admits that she still has moments of insecurity, she has already taught herself to protect her peace and focus on the good: "Tao rin naman ako, I get affected sometimes. Pero most of the time, I don't get affected because I like to choose my battles."
"I don't wanna waste my energy on something negative and people who don't really add value to my life," she added. We love her positive mindset!
Bella further explained that there's no point in trying to impress everyone when haters will always find unreasonable ways to talk badly about you. She shared, "When you have bashers kasi, it can mean two things. First one is you might have done something wrong so just take it as constructive criticism. And then the other one is you might be doing something right."
"Like what I said a while ago, when people see you thrive or when they see you as someone above them, they will always look for something to say negative about you," she concluded. Stay unbothered, Bella!
