Bela Padilla recently made a guest appearance on the Kapamilya noontime program It’s Showtime together with Vice Ganda, Karylle, Kim Chiu, and the rest of their regular hosts. Most fans of the show were glad to see Bela back on television, with many sending her praises and telling her to consider becoming a regular on the show. However, one netizen felt that Bela didn’t belong on the program, saying that “it doesn’t suit her.” Being the seasoned actress and TV host that she is, she only had the classiest response.

“I saw you on that show with Vice Ganda and her gang. I have to say it doesn’t suit you. You come across as a smarter actress and intelligent filmmaker. All these nonsense [shows] with their stupid cheap jokes at the expense of their guests is not you. I’m just saying,” commented the netizen.
Bela promptly responded to the netizen with grace, saying: “I totally disagree. If one is truly smart, they can adapt to any environment.”
She continued, “I always have the best time when I’m on Showtime…I genuinely love talking to people and making them laugh and I am self-deprecating enough to be laughed at too so it goes both ways.”
ICYDK, the actress has made several appearances on It’s Showtime, going as far back as 2017. Bela has always been a welcome guest on the show, as she also shows great chemistry with the hosts and contestants alike. “I’m lucky that Vice and ‘her gang’ always make me feel welcome and never oblige me to let go of what I really am, which is a filmmaker,” she added.
