Bela Padilla is back in school. The actress-screenwriter and director shared her first day attending The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London on Instagram.
"Back to school! Yesterday was our first day and it was sooo exhilarating, I learned so much already on day 1! If you could study acting/filmmaking what would you like to learn?" Bela posted on Instagram on Friday, September 29, 2023.
Her post was accompanied by video clips taken that day, showing Bela preparing for school and going to the campus to attend class.
Founded in 1904, RADA is one of the oldest drama schools in the UK. The institution is located in the Bloomsbury area and offers training and courses for film, television, theater, and radio.
King Charles III is cited as the school's royal patron following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.
RADA boasts an impressive roster of alumni including Richard Attenborough, Ralph Fiennes, Eva Gray, Tom Hiddleston, Vivien Leigh, Alan Rickman, Gemma Jones, and Diana Rigg, among many others.
The school gets many applicants a year from aspiring students and getting admitted is quite challenging because of the high volume of candidates.
Aside from being an actress, Bela is also a screenwriter and director.
Some of the projects where Bela was credited as a screenwriter were 10,000 Hours, Luck at First Sight, Last Night, and Yung Libro sa Napanood Ko.
As a director, Bela did 366 and Yung Libro sa Napanood Ko.
