A video of Bea Alonzo’s adorable interaction with a little boy in Singapore is going viral.
In the TikTok posted by his sister, the young kid can be seen taking a video of himself while walking up to Bea at a food court. It seems he’s aware Bea’s a celebrity but isn’t exactly sure who she is.
The boy nonchalantly approaches and asks Bea what she’s famous for. “I’m a movie actress,” Bea answers. The boy continues to ask her a series of questions, almost like in an interview. Commenters even hilariously pointed out that Bea unexpectedly found herself in a segment of Boy Abunda’s Fast Talk.
Bea patiently and happily answered all his questions, which included where she’s from, her favorite food, her favorite country (it’s Switzerland, by the way), and why she’s in Singapore. As per Bea’s reply, she was there to celebrate her boyfriend—and now fiance—Dominic Roque’s birthday.
In the comments section, the boy’s older sister explained that her brother wandered off while their mom was buying food. They were surprised to find him talking to Bea, and his aunt and cousin immediately went up to fetch him while apologizing to the actress.
The TikTok video currently has 6.1 million views and a million likes, with more than 7000 amused comments who couldn’t believe the boy’s luck! “Casually interviewing Bea Alonzo for free,” wrote one user. Another quipped, “Yung wala ka na sa airport pero may immigration pa din pala.” LOL!
Bea posted about her brief but memorable trip to Singapore last July 26. Alongside Dominic’s birthday, they also went on a food trip to celebrate their recent engagement. Bea captioned, “Literal na tumakbo [kami] sa airport after the GMA Gala. We barely made it to our flight! Our trip was short but one of the most unforgettable. Check out the clip where he was ironing my clothes, ganyan po sya magmahal.”
