This Celebrity-Approved Content Studio in Quezon City Is Perfect for Shoots and Events

In the ever-evolving world of digital storytelling, the role of content studios has become increasingly pivotal. Among those in the metro, Balara Content House stands out as a creative powerhouse with it's expansive 2000 sqm space that includes eight distinct areas.

Located in the heart of Quezon City, Balara Content House fosters a collaborative atmosphere where ideas flourish and visions come to life. The brainchild of photographer Jay Jay Lucas and his wife Feliz, they opened their doors in the middle of the pandemic, offering ample space that complies with the then-restrictions of the "number of allowable people to the size of the venue" ratio.

Being creatives themselves, they understood the importance of having a spacious work station that is pleasant and uncluttered. They subscribed to the japandi aesthetic, which is characterized by light, airy, and minimalist features. Since this isn't their first rodeo (they also own Lucas Studios), they've already anticipated their clients' needs with creature comforts, hence, a robust equipment list, strong Wi-Fi, sufficient air conditioning, and even a café that serves coffee and pasta.

Taking inspiration from the Warner Bros. Studios, the couple was keen on building a space where there are multiple areas to explore. Each boasting a distinct look, the content house aims to inspire limitless creativity with their array of nooks and crannies. Check them out below:

Magnolia Gallery

The largest of the spaces, Magnolia Gallery is a 160 sqm studio that has an abundance of natural light with its huge windows. It can fit up to 120 people, and you can even book this as an events space! Fun fact: This was where Julia Barretto celebrated her 25th birthday.

Calea Suite

The cozy Calea Suite perfectly exemplifies the japandi aesthetic. A luxe yet zen area, it features a wood paneled accent wall as well as hygge-approved plush sofas and bright interiors.

Lunch Box

For a classic blank canvas, you can opt to book the Lunch Box. It is an entirely white space where your imagination can take centerstage.

Flexi Studio

The Flexi Studio is a bright contemporary space that can act as a co-working space as well. It is equipped with audiovisual features that make it an excellent spot for recording podcasts.

Glass House

The Glass House is reminscent of a full-on IG-worthy home with a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and even a home office. You can even host dinners and hold your wedding preps here!

Front Yard

Looking for an outdoor area? The Front Yard is a lush slice of green in the city. Whether looking for natural light to illuminate your shoot or a breezy expanse to host your event, it's the perfect option for your al fresco needs. 

Humble

The smallest of their offerings, Humble still offers quite the punch despite its compact size. Packed with Instagrammable corners, you're still sure to get a lot of unique content for your feed. 

Patio

Not one to waste space, the content house's Patio can also be exclusively rented and set up to a look you fancy. With a skylight and artificial grass, it can also transform into a weather-proof picnic brunch area.
