We are stumped to find the "so-what" with this one. Apple is selling an official polishing cloth around the world, including the Philippines, where it costs P1,190.
What could be the reason to buy this except the fact that you must have something from Tim Cook to wipe the hand grease from your iPhone, iPad, Watch, MacBook, iMac or Airpods... or Pencil.
Apple's Philippine store descibes it as "made with soft, non-abrasive material, the Polishing Cloth cleans any Apple display, including nano-texture glass, safely and effectively." Yes, so are cloth rags from Handyman.
There's no MagSafe or AirPlay sorcery on this one, just Apple selling Apple things.
Apple, which just recently released the iPhone 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, is notorious for charging a premium for its products. In this WFH age, many got a P3,500 adaptor to connect their MacBooks to an HDMI monitor because Apple had killed off the HDMI from the MacBook.
It's most recent releases, the MacBook Pro 14 and 16 brought back the ports that were missing from the 13-inch Pro and the budget-friendly Air.
Shipping time for the Apple Polishing Cloth is 10-12 weeks which means if you order now, you have to be patient through Christmas. Here's an unboxing from bewildered Unbox Therapy.
