Aon Somrutai has taken over TikTok's For-You pages with her bubbly persona and limitless love for luxury. The Thai socialite now boasts over five million followers on the app, with each video she uploads garnering countless likes and views.
While many factors contribute to her rise to popularity, her faithful bodyguard Kateyki, whom she never forgets to express gratitude to, has become integral to her online brand.
Everyone from GOT7's BamBam to BLACKPINK's Lisa has been saying "Thank you, Kateyki" thanks to Aon's infectious reels. In a recent interview with Thai content creator and host Woody Milintachinda, she talks about how the two of them met and eventually became "content stars."

Aon narrates that she and Kateyki met during an event for Perrine Porter, a brand she launched that houses luxury fashion items. "There was a sale event and there were so many customers, so we kind of needed a bodyguard to check if anyone is putting items into their own bag. We couldn't oversee everything," she shares.
Kateyki, whose real name is actually Tae, was stationed closest to the front of the shop. The socialite and her team approached him to "come and create content with Aon." She says that he didn't initially have a nickname until they decided to continue making clips together.
"Your name sounds very manly," Aon recalls telling Tae. She decided to take the "T" sound in his name to come up with a moniker that could ring a bell with her viewers outside of Thailand. "I also have an international fan base... [so the name] is kind of similar to Kentucky," she candidly explains. And so, she (and the rest of the internet) started calling him Kateyki.
Aside from Kateyki, viewers also regularly get to see Khun Noi, Aon's househelper. She says that "they’ve become content stars now," adding that their video-making process is completely candid.
"There’s no script, but when we create content, we need positive energy, [so] we surround ourselves with positive people," she puts it.
