ICYMI: Anne Curtis is set to make her teleserye comeback after nine years with a Philippine adaptation of the hit K-drama, It's Okay To Not Be Okay.
The 2020 K-drama was headlined by Korean actors Kim Soo Hyun, Seo Ye Ji, and Oh Jung Se. Its main story tells how Ye Ji's character, Moon Young, overcomes trauma that still haunts her in the present with the help of Moon Gang Tae (Soo Hyun), and his brother Moon Sang Tae (Jung Se).
An author of children's books, Moon Young has an overbearing and sassy personality. Of course, it irked Gang Tae when the woman suddenly had her eyes set only on him. Later on, the two fell in love.
Anne's first teleserye in almost a decade was announced during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special last December 13, 2023. Looks like we have something to get excited about in 2024!
Anne last starred in a lead role in 2014 fantasy series, Dyesebel. Although she has been inactive in the teleserye scene, she has been starring in award-winning movies and is still a mainstay host in It's Showtime.
So who will be Gang Tae and Sang Tae? Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino were also reported to join Anne for the much-awaited project. It's just a matter of time before we know who Anne's love interest will be for this teleserye.
Next year, ABS-CBN is set to release two PH remakes. It was earlier announced that Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino will be top-billing the PH adaptation of the K-drama What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?, which was originally portrayed by Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young.
