On January 22, 2024, Anne greeted Maryann on her birthday through a heartfelt Instagram post. “To our dearest @meanontay, happy happy birthday. We are so blessed to have you as part of our family. We love you so much Dahlia’s Tita Me! Happy happy birthday,” she wrote in the caption.
Netizens, friends, family, and fellow showbiz personalities flooded Anne’s comments section with greetings for Maryann.
One particular netizen, however, suggested that Anne should have posted her birthday greeting to Maryann on her Instagram Story instead. According to the follower, it didn’t fit the actress’ IG feed. "Happy Birthday po! Pero suggest ko lang you can post it nalang sa story ung birthday greetings instead IG post, since hindi po bagay sa IG feed niyo po," commented the netizen.
Anne, being the kindhearted person she is, responded to the netizen graciously, saying that it was only right for her to upload her greeting to Maryann on the feed since she is a part of their family. “She’s a family member so bagay talaga sya sa feed ko. Plus hindi naman curated feed ko. So walang ganyan ganyan. But thank you sa suggestion [face blowing a kiss emoji]”
