As a young actress who grew up in the spotlight, Alexa Ilacad is no stranger to rude remarks made by random trolls online. Don't get us wrong, though! The Gen Z star totally knows how to handle her bashers, and she always serves the best clapbacks when dealing with them.

Case in point: Alexa responded to some toxic comments in Star Magic's recent vlog, proving that she's definitely not afraid to stand up for herself!

"Kaya ka nababastos kasi kabastos-bastos pananamit mo," one comment reads, to which the actress disagreed. "No, kaya kami nababastos kasi bastos ka."

She also emphasized that there is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing what you want. "Bakit tayo nangingialam sa suot ng ibang tao? Hindi naman tayo ang nagpapakain sa kanila, hindi naman tayo ang bumili ng damit nila. Hindi naman ikakasira ng buhay mo kung nag two-piece sila. So why the violent reactions? Let them enjoy things," she says.

"Napaka-shallow nung ganong thinking. Wala sa pananamit yung dahilan kung bakit nababastos ang mga tao, ang mga babae. Kaya nababastos ang mga babae, kasi may bastos. Yun lang yun. The fact na ginagawang excuse yung 'She's probably asking for it,' Grabe, hindi naturuan ng tama."

The actress ends the video with the most inspiring message.

"Please be kinder, the world needs it. I pray for us to just be kinder, gentler, and to also remember that not everything you see on social media is real, not everything is attainable," she says, emphasizing the importance of taking care of our bodies.

"Totoo yung sinasabi nila na every body is different. Let's try to think kinder thoughts and remember that our body is our vessel, it is our home, and it's doing everything it can to keep us alive. That is enough to be thankful for."

Well said, Alexa!
