1. She’s an Aquarius.
Leren was born on January 28, 1993 in her hometown of Los Banos, Laguna.
2. She’s the youngest of three siblings.
The 30-year-old is actually the bunso of the family!
3. She graduated with a degree in Marketing Management.
After finishing high school at Trace College in Los Baños, she then enrolled at Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Calamba. Both schools are based in Laguna.
4. She joined Mutya ng Pilipinas in 2015.
The pageant would be the first among many other beauty pageants that Leren would join in the coming years. She was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2015 and represented the country at the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International pageant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
5. She was crowned Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International in 2015.
Leren actually took home the crown when she competed in Kuala Lumpur back in December 31, 2015 for Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International. She bested 56 other girls vying for the title.
6. She then competed in Binibining Pilipinas 2019.
Proving that she’s definitely a goal-getter, Leren also competed for the covetable Binibining Pilipinas crown back in 2019. She finished the competition with another title—Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2019 and was actually crowned by Michelle Gumabao, who previously held the title. Leren represented the country at the Miss Globe 2015 competition in Mexico and placed 2nd runner-up.
7. She actually joined the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 competition.
As they say, third time’s the charm! Leren represented Laguna once again when she competed in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant back in 2021. She finished the competition as part of the Top 10.
8. She hung up her beauty queen sash to be a politician back in 2022. She’s currently the City Councilor for Los Banos, Laguna.
Her constituents fondly call her the Queensehala of Los Banos and it’s a fitting name for the morena! Based on an Instagram post, Leren’s accomplishments as councilor include passing 80 Resolutions and 9 Ordinances, and other financial aid towards a myriad of health and educational causes. She is also the Education and Public Information Chairperson of her municipality.
9. She’s had a billboard in New York City.
Just like Heart Evangelista and Julie Anne San Jose, Leren was also spotted in Timesquare back in August 2022 for an electronic billboard.
