Can you remember a day you didn't use Google in one way or another? Yeah, we can't anymore either.

While it's become far more than a search platform in the past years, it can't be denied that all the info we feed it says a lot about the current state of the world—which is why we're here to talk about K-dramas. Yup, Google has released their recap of the things and trends people searched in 2022 and Korean titles have gotten so big they got their own category!

Below, we list down the 10 most buzzed about titles on Google from least to most.

LIST: Top 10 Most Googled K-Dramas in 2022

10. Happiness

A skyscraper, an outbreak, and a group of people just trying to make it out alive. All the elements of a nailbiting series—wrapped up in a South Korean production that makes it extra thrilling. This tested Han Hyo Joo, Park Hyung Sik, and Jo Woo Jin's acting prowess as their characters fight to the death.

9. Sh**ting Stars

We too would like a word with whoever decided to put the asterisks there but hey, whether it was on purpose or a lost-in-translation moment, it does match the fun tone of this rom-com. Lee Sung Kyung's character Oh Han-byul becomes the big boss of the PR arm of Star Force Entertainment, where she comes head to head with one of their stars, Tae Sung, portrayed by Kim Young Dae. Who doesn't love the good ol' enemies-to-lovers trope?

8. Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area

The Korean adaptation of the OG Spanish heist series dropped this year to much noise. We're already on part two of the first season, with a new six-episode release in December. Narrative-wise, it certainly holds true to its predecessor but keeps things fresh and new with their own type and level of execution.

7. Our Beloved Summer

Two former sweethearts are brought together again thanks to a documentary they filmed way back when they were in high school. This coming-of-age series may look like an easy watch, thanks to its light visuals and low-key comedic nature, but don't be fooled, it will tug at your heartstrings. It's the seventh most-searched Korean title for a reason.

6. Big Mouth

This thriller series pits an underachieveing lawyer against a genius con-man, with a twist. Dubbed "Big Mouth" because of his inability to think before speaking, lawyer Park Chang-ho is accused of being the top swindler known as "Big Mouse." His wife Go Mi-ho then attempts to clear his name.

5. Twenty-Five Twenty-One

Proving once again that nostalgia will always be strong, this series set in 1998 follows a tenacious young girl and a boy down on his luck. Na Hee-do dreams of being a top fencer while Baek Yi-jin and his family suffer a turn of fate.

4. Alchemy of Souls

Period fantasy series will always hold sway over audiences. Just take a look at number four on this list! Alchemy of Souls follows young mages in the fictional country of Daeho. And yup, a little soul-switching is thrown in, too.

3. Business Proposal

Folks everywhere were obssessed with this lighthearted comedy and all its twists. In Business Proposal, we follow a girl who agrees to go on a blind date as her friend with the goal of completely messing it up—only it turns out to be with an executive of the company she works for.

2. Extraordinary Attorney Woo

We all fell in love with Attorney Woo and her extraordinary perspective on life this year. There was something innately fulfilling about watching her find a place in the world, and do what she was meant to do. There was also something magical about seeing all those whales and dolphins.

1. All of Us Are Dead

Netflix dropped one heck of a banger on us in January 2022 in the form of All of Us Are Dead. The not-so-typical zombie apocalypse thriller had everyone hooked! This epic thriller situates the zombie outbreak in a high school, which means a sizeable chunk of the world watched as a bunch of kids got really creative, in the goriest way possible. The series made such a buzz that it is also number five in top trends in general for 2022. And yes, a second season has been confirmed.
