Just last month at her inaugural UnkabogaBall, Vice Ganda made heads turn with not just one, but two custom-made looks. The dress code for the affair was "eksaherada eleganza," and the 45-year-old multi-hyphenate certainly understood the assignment.
After changing out of her disco ball-esque Jaggy Glarino dress, Vice slipped into a frill-tastic empire waist frock paired with the most covetable matching pink block heels. Complementing the ensemble was a dreamy beauty look done by Emman Concepcion.
LOOK: Vice Ganda's pretty in pink UnkabogaBall outfit.
Aside from dramatically-shaped liner and a vivid violet lip, the beat prominently featured magenta-hued feathers that framed Vice's eyes and matched with her outfit.
For the fashion-savvy folks out there, the extravagant makeup might look a bit familiar. It totally brought us back to Lady Gaga's campy beauty look for the 2019 Met Gala. The exaggerated lashes were the perfect finishing touch to all three of the singer-actress' theatrical ensembles.
True enough, Emman tells Preview that the idea for this makeup was a "fusion of Lady Gaga's Met Gala 2019 [look] and Valentino's makeup runway look [for] SS19." To accomplish such an eye-catching concept, Emman made use of custom-made natural feathers attached to knotted wispy eyelashes.
He also shares that it only took "a little over 15 minutes" to switch up Vice's beat from the first one she started the event with. Emman has done the noontime show host's beauty looks before, and he says that the quick change was thanks to his "pleasant relationship with [his] subject."
Needless to say, we're impressed with how it turned out. Love!
