Dior’s iconic J'adore fragrance has a new muse: Rihanna. The R&B and pop superstar, who first became a Dior ambassador in 2015, is now officially the face of J'adore for its largest launch since 2018, succeeding actress Charlize Theron, who represented the scent since 2004. This collaboration marks a high point in Rihanna's long-standing relationship with the brand.
LOOK: Rihanna Is the New Muse for Dior’s J’adore Fragrance
The new J'adore campaign offers a visual feast, framed through the lens of Rihanna's long-time friend Steven Klein, known for his previous work with the musician, including the Dior Secret Garden 2015 campaign and her W magazine cover in 2016. Set against the luxurious backdrop of Versailles, the campaign features the musician as a radiant queen. The campaign video sees her don a golden gown embroidered with pale sequins, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior's Creative Director for Women’s Collections.
What Is Dior J’adore?
Launched in 1999 by perfumer Calice Becker, J'adore is a floral-fruity fragrance for women. The scent opens with bright notes of pear, melon, and mandarin, leading to a rich floral heart of jasmine, rose, and violet, and anchored by warm base notes of musk, vanilla, and cedar.
