There’s nothing I love more than a good drugstore discovery and a long-lasting lip product! Put the two together, and you’ve got my attention. I Do is a darling, nude pink while Mon Amour is an everyday, muted red friendly for both morena and mestiza skin. They’re such universally flattering colors! It comes in a lightweight and non-drying formula because of camellia oil and Vitamin E. That sleek transparent and gold packaging is also divine!
How I Used It:
I initially had my doubts on a long-wearing lipstick from the drugstore. I’ve tried countless of formulas - both drugstore and luxury—yet I’ve never found a formula quite like this. It’s fully matte yet creamy enough that my lips don’t feel parched after hours of wear. The lasting power is unbelievable! It lasts me a full day, even withstanding my daily Starbucks drink! It’s a godsend for those who hate retouching. The colors are superiorly pigmented; one swipe is enough to get its full opacity.
Final Verdict:
I Do and Mon Amour have become staples in my collection and don’t leave my kikay kit! They’re super comfortable, too. I throw it on during lazy, no-foundation days when I need a pop of color or on full days packed with meetings and events!
