Meet the incredible glam team behind the magic, who brought this vision to life.

LOOK: Meet the Glam Team Behind Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo
The glam squad from Nix Institute of Beauty, the official glam team for Miss Universe Philippines, took center stage in bringing this enchanting vision to life. Set against a lush garden of blue, yellow, and cream roses, Chelsea embodied the essence of regal beauty. Her gown, layered in dreamy tulle, added a fairytale touch, while her confident, poised expression showed she's a woman in control of her own narrative.

Leading the magic was head makeup artist Nix Soriano, who, along with Leilani Bamba-Rizon, created a look that balanced Chelsea’s grace with a hint of strength. For the hair, Bhelle Alba styled Chelsea’s locks with an elegance that perfectly complemented her princess-like presence, while associate hairstylist Miranda Jessey added those final, flawless touches.

Reflecting on her journey with Miss Universe Philippines, Nix Soriano shared, “Working with Miss Universe PH for five years has been one of the highlights of my career. Professionally speaking, I am thankful for all the opportunities that have opened up because of Miss Universe PH. But beyond those opportunities, I am more thankful for all the experiences we have treasured from all five seasons. All the laughter and tears backstage, All the places I was able to travel to, the people I have met and so much more.”

On their working relationship, she only has good things to say about the Filipina beauty queen. She shares, “Chelsea is one of the most kind-hearted [beauty] queens I have worked with. She tries her best to make everyone feel welcomed and heard whenever we have shoots. I remember while we were doing this shoot [with blue flowers], she was coming [from] a very hectic week, she got home very late the night before, but she still got to our shoot on time just like a professional queen. The shoot was set to finish by 5 p.m., but it had to be extended to squeeze in a last-minute interview. Despite this, she worked with the production team and gave us the most amazing shots.”

Behind the lens, Lester Pilar of Nib Studios captured every mesmerizing moment, translating Chelsea’s fairytale vibe into photographs that are both powerful and poetic. The creative direction and styling by Nash August elevated the vision even further, with Nash selecting heels from Jojo Bragais and gowns from Gowns & Goddesses.

And, of course, Miss G of Amanzio Event Styling took the Disney-inspired dream to another level with a garden of blooms in blue, yellow, and cream. The intricate floral arrangement felt like something out of a fairytale—romantic, whimsical, and just the right amount of magic. Production manager Rani Soriano coordinated every detail behind the scenes, ensuring everything ran smoothly—even squeezing in a last-minute interview with Chelsea without a hitch.
