During Dove's Serums Lab Event at SM Megamall, Megan, Angelina, and Hannah shared with us their underarm struggles. Hannah opened up about how the stress during the pandemic caused her eczema to flare up, resulting in chicken skin and fine lines on her underarms.
“I was really stressed and really anxious, and that manifests in your skin as well. I personally struggle with eczema. It's something that I was dealing with during the pandemic. And it actually shows in your underarms because you have chicken skin and fine lines,” she explained.
Angelina, on the other hand, revealed that she suffers from hyperpigmentation due to shaving her underarms, “I'm really prone to hyperpigmentation since I shave… I usually have those stubborn dark spots.”
Meanwhile, Megan shared that her underarms had been damaged due to the pressures of repeated shaving and waxing starting at a young age. “Kawawa talaga yung kili-kili ko,” she admitted.
“It really came to a point that I would wear clothes that would really cover it up. And syempre, pag naka cover-up ka at nasa mainit tayong lugar, nasa Pilipinas tayo, so pawis na pawis talaga. And that would also affect how I would feel because I would feel less confident and not so sure about, you know, how I presented myself,” she added.

When asked how they incorporate the Deo Serums into their underarm care routine, they explained it’s best to use the dry serum at night. Simply spread a pearl-sized amount of the serums onto your armpits before going to bed. Then to conquer your everyday tasks, use the roll-on as your regular deodorant.
