GMA-7's Prime Time Queen Marian Rivera unquestionably stands out as one of the most stunning celebrities in the country. However, does beauty come with any disadvantages?
At the press launch of the affordable skincare brand BlancPro, Marian shared her perspective on the matter, asserting that she doesn't perceive any disadvantages associated with her beauty. "For me, wala naman sigurong disadvantage," she told the press including PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Emphasizing the importance of gracefully embracing the aging process, Marian highlights the value of nurturing outer and inner beauty and self-acceptance. She said, "Kailangan nating tanggapin ang katotohanan na, alam mo yun, hindi naman forever young ka. Pero, ang tanong, how do you take care of yourself habang tumatanda ka."
Marian added, "Kaya naman nandiyan ang ating mga lotions. Para alam mo yun, kasi yun naman talaga yun, e. Kung paano mo alagaan yung sarili mo. Lahat tayo dadating diyan. Lahat tayo tatanda. Yun nga lang, paano ka tatanda na mas maayos, mas maganda, di ba?"
"For me, okay ako doon. In-embrace ko yung ganung pagkakataon."
In response to inquiries about her beauty routine for graceful aging, Marian openly shared that she follows a rather elaborate regimen, particularly emphasizing her dedicated focus on facial care.
Marian said candidly, "Marami akong routine, e. Maarte ako, e. Yun yung sinasabi ko kay Ate Rhea [Tan], isa sa mga topic namin kapag nag-uusap kami, kahit way back pa."
"Kung paano namin alagaan ang sarili namin, kung anong product nilagay namin sa face namin, kung ano bang kailangan naming moisturizer or sunblock, maingat talaga ako sa ganun." Rhea Tan is the CEO and founder of Beautéderm Group, the company behind BlancPro.
Marian also emphasizes the importance of nurturing inner beauty, recognizing that true beauty extends beyond mere external appearance.
She said, "Hindi lang palaging skin-skin. Siyempre kailangan inside din, masaya ka, happy ka na alam mo yun, sa sarili mo, sa pamilya mo, sa lahat ng achievements mo, so mahalagang combination yang dalawa na yan."
