For the latter, you'll be delighted to know that French fashion house Maison Margiela just opened a shop for their fragrances in Greenbelt 5 in Makati. The store—the first in the Philippines—is home to its cult-fave eau de toilettes, among other home and body fragrances that evoke memories when you take a whiff.

Sitting by the fireplace while reading a book, feeling snug and warm all inside; Lying in bed on a lazy Sunday morning as the rain falls right outside your window; or maybe you're lounging around a bar with jazz music smoothly making its way to your ears-these familiar moments, locations, and even periods are replicated and relived through spritzes of the brand's fragrances a.k.a Replica. You know how powerful and evoking scents can be.
Years back, perfume lovers had to fly out or ask friends out on trips to purchase bottles of their go-to scents. Authorized resellers and Replica kiosks soon popped up, providing perfumes locally, but nothing beats going to the official store where you can expect stocks, the latest drops, and experience picking your new signature scent firsthand.
The brand's bottles are lined up on this new store's shelves, as well as candles, and diffusers that also contain various memories and soon-to-be experiences through smell. Their bath and body products are also seen among them with the notable Replica stamp that tells of the fragrance's style description, provenance period, et cetera.
According to their US site, the brand's bestsellers are the Replica Jazz Club, Replica Coffee Break, Replica by the Fireplace, and Replica Lazy Sunday Morning, among others, all of which you can have a whiff of when you visit the store.
