Maine Mendoza recently went on a trip to Japan in April where, outside of seeing famous sights, she got a spontaneous haircut there which she hilariously regretted. The actress-host thought it was too short, as seen on the TikTok video she posted documenting her experience.

Trying out a daring cut can sometimes only look good freshly out of the salon, but the moment after a bath and styling it on your own, it may end up looking a little different. This looks to be the case for Maine, who tried styling her hair to look like a French bob.
"Tried a new hairstyle today in an attempt to make my bob look like a French one but it ended up looking like many things except a cute French bob," she wrote on Instagram. "Sa photos lang pala kaya dayain lol. The struggles of doing your own hair."
In her next story, Maine edited her face into various objects with the same shape as her new hairdo such as a wax apple, an Angry Bird, a makeup brush, and a mushroom. LOL!
"Just remember that you can be anything you wanna be in this world," she wrote.
She also noted that her hair grows insanely fast, so we probably won't get to see this length for much longer. "Di siya nagtatampo kahit anong gupit ko lol," she shared.
