After months of anticipation, the line has finally arrived in the Philippines, exclusively available at the Celine Greenbelt 3 boutique.
While Celine is best known for its fashion, beauty isn’t entirely new territory for the house. In 2019, Hedi Slimane introduced Celine Haute Parfumerie, a collection of sophisticated scents that reflected the brand’s modern yet timeless DNA. Fast forward to 2024, and the maison has now stepped into the world of makeup with Le Rouge Celine, a collection of refillable satin lipsticks designed to be as much a luxury accessory as a beauty essential.
What Is Le Rouge Celine?
Designed by Hedi himself, Le Rouge Celine features 15 shades, each housed in a faceted gold case stamped with the Triomphe monogram—so chic, it doubles as a keepsake. The lineup includes a mix of classic reds, muted nudes, and deeper, moodier hues. Some standouts? Rouge Triomphe, a signature Parisian red; Orange Cléa, a vibrant ‘70s-inspired orange; La Peau Nue, a flattering nude; and Zouzou, a babydoll pink.
Beyond aesthetics, the formula delivers, too. Infused with natural-origin ingredients like sunflower wax, rice wax, beeswax, and squalane, these lipsticks are ultra-hydrating while offering a rich satin finish. Bonus: They’re scented with a nostalgic blend of rose and rice powder—a nod to the vintage beauty rituals of the ‘70s.
