When people say, "Everything Heart Evangelista touches turns to gold," this must be what they mean. Earlier today, French fashion house Mugler took it to Instagram to post a photo of the actress.

In the photo, Heart Evangelista is demurely perched amongst the Parisian rooftops, dressed in a yellow frock from the brand's Fall/Winter 2024 collection. In her hand, she's holds a pink, star-shaped bottle that's a been a fixture in her "What's In My Bag" or "My Favorite Perfumes" videos: Mugler's Angel Nova perfume.
Heart has been a long-time fan of Mugler's Angel line of perfumes. She first mentioned the brand in one of her earlier vlogs in 2019, saying her first encounter with Mugler Angel Eau de Toilette was when she was fourteen and happened to smell the scent on one of the models during an acting workshop.
She mentioned the perfume again in 2021 in her Closet Favorites video, saying the scent is perfect for cold weather. "It has a strong scent, but it's not so strong where your nose gets irritated," she said. It's interesting to note here that the scent's been in Heart's rotation for so long, she even has the previous versions of the bottles, long before the brand changed their design to the iconic star shape.
The pink star first made an appearance last year in her What's In My Bag 2023 vlog. "This is my top favorite," she said. "For every day, you want something fresh, light, bubbly—a scent that people will remember… yeah, it’s the red star."
Heart mentioned Angel Nova yet again in another video, this time by French fashion influencer May Berthelot (sister of Heart's frequent collaborator, photographer Edward Berthelot). In the video, she pulls out a travel-sized version of her signature scent, further proving her love for the perfume.
The "Heart Effect"
Heart Evangelista's influence on sales is well-documented on social media. Just type up #heartmademedoit on Instagram and the hashtag leads to multiple shopping posts with netizens showing off their Heart-influenced purchases. From Puma sneaks to bejeweled Labubus, people are definitely eager to get a piece of anything recommended by the actress.
