Heart recently visited Vimana Tattoo Studios to level up her ear candy game. This isn’t the style icon’s first ear piercing, mind you. But while she previously had four piercings done on both the right and left lobes, this is the first time she decided to get a helix piercing on the cartilage area.
Cartilage piercings are comparatively more painful and more high maintenance than lobe piercings. The tissue is much harder and thicker around this area so it also takes a longer time to heal. Still, they're really pretty to look at, and Heart’s pictures are proof! She was even able to convince her stylist Iza Sim to get a helix piercing of her own.
