Finally, a documentary by Refinery29 is here to enlighten us. The website's beauty editor, Lexy Lebsack, traveled all the way to Vietnam to learn about the current state of the human hair trade. It unveiled the unknown sides of the industry, from some of the exploitative techniques used on disenfranchised women to the development of ethical sourcing methods that show promise of a hopeful future.
