Lip tints are supposed to be easy to apply, pigmented, and longwearing. They're usually in watery or gel-like formulas that glide smoothly on our puckers before they set to become the budgeproof veil of color they're meant to be. That said, tints also come in creamier variations without losing their reliable staying power. Here's a formula we're currently loving, as worn by Gabbi Garcia:
Gabbi is wearing Maybelline's new Sensational Liquid Matte Lip Tint in the shade Made Easy, a deep brick rose. According to her makeup artist Robbie Piñera, he just applied a touch of gloss in the middle for some extra shine ( also a neat trick if you have dry lips).
Back to the tint, this formula is definitely on the creamier spectrum, and it closely resembles that of a liquid lipstick. While it does set into a soft matte finish, it gives you ample time beforehand to blend it out—which means you can even use it as cream blush!
