Every body is built differently. Some can easily get into shape, while others could find it harder to reach their fitness goals because of genes, hormones, medical conditions, and the like. For those who want that extra push, liposuction is a quick and efficient option to trim down your figure.
The suction technique it uses swiftly and effectively removes excess fat on stubborn areas like the abdomen, arms, thighs, and buttocks, so it's no wonder many choose (or aspire!) to undergo this procedure. After all, it's 2025 and we're all about you doing you.
There's no shame in wanting to go under the knife for a little help in tweaking your form, the same way that it's perfectly okay to not be a "size zero." Your body, your rules, and more and more women are embracing the newfound confidence this choice gives them—celebrities included! Below, we list down 12 stars who openly revealed undergoing liposuction.
12 Filipina Celebrities Who've Unapologetically Admitted to Undergoing Liposuction
1. Janella Salvador
Just a few months after giving birth to her adorable baby boy, the first-time mom flaunted her fit body in a one-piece suit. She revealed that aside from her regular workouts and constant meal plans, liposuction was the biggest factor that contributed to her weight loss. Janella opted to undergo this procedure because she knew crash diets wouldn't be healthy, especially now that she needs to take care of herself more than ever for her son.
In her Instagram post, she said, "I can’t thank [Dr. Vicki Belo] and [Dr. Hayden Kho] enough for helping me jumpstart my journey back to sexy and for giving me back my confidence. I am finally starting to see the woman I want to see in the mirror once again. I also want to give myself a pat on the back for taking initiative to exercise as well.”

2. Jinkee Pacquiao
In an interview with Belo Medical Group, Jinkee opened up about her reason behind going under the knife. "I decided to get liposuction because I have a problem with excess fat. I feel ugly," she explained, "I can’t wear tight clothes. I always wear big t-shirts to cover my big arms. I’m fat and I just want to be sexy."
It was after giving birth to her third child, Mary, that she went all out by getting a full-body liposuction. She said that the physical change made her confident about herself. "When I look in the mirror, I see a happy woman and that makes me feel beautiful inside and out," she mused, "You see, what people don’t understand is that procedures like these are not always about vanity—more than looking good, it’s the feeling good and being healthy that matters. When you feel healthy and beautiful, everything around you feels beautiful as well. It’s really life-changing."

3. Sharon Cuneta
In an interview from 2015, the Megastar revealed, “Nakapagpa-lipo na ako years ago and hindi ka naman maglo-lose ng weight sa lipo lang.” She added, “[With] the amount of weight that I have to lose, which the majority I already lost, hindi makukuha sa surgery. Ask anybody who has had lipo, 'di ba, it doesn't work that way.”
Sharon knew she could not resort to just liposuction as a total weight loss remedy. Since 2016, she has been consistent with her diet and for her 2021 TV comeback in Ang Probinsyano, she got extra help from The Aivee Clinic. In an Instagram post by Dr. Aivee Teo, the derm announced that Sharon became a size medium from XXL thanks to their fitness program.

4. Beauty Gonzalez
In 2015, Beauty made headlines for transforming her physique. She couldn't get rid of the stubborn fat she had on her arms, back, chin, and jaw, and this made her turn to liposuction for these areas.

5. Morissette Amon
Morisette has always felt a little bit insecure about her arms. "For the longest time, I tried doing lots of exercises, kaso feeling ko ang tagal na, tapos walang progress,” she said. Since the idea of surgery can be daunting, she was very hesitant about undergoing liposuction, but her worries faded after meeting Dr. Vicki. They accompanied her arm liposuction with BodyTite, a radio frequency procedure to tighten loose skin, and the combination of treatments gave Morissette the toned arms she has always wanted. To maintain the results, the singer loves hitting the gym and she recommends getting a personal trainer to motivate you when you're feeling lazy to workout!

6. Catriona Gray
Catriona is currently fronting Body Reset, the hyper-personalized, medically supervised, and sustainable weight management system offered by Belo. During the intimate event for the beauty clinic's latest campaign, the former Miss Universe revealed that aside from her personal program that consisted mainly of machine treatments, such as Emsculpt, Exilis, and Onda, as she wasn't comfortable with injectibles yet, she also had liposuction done at the back of her arms. Emphasizing the subjective nature of beauty, Cat mentioned that beauty is about empowerment and that you get to define what it looks like for you. For her, reducing her arms made her feel even more confident, and she figured "why not?"

7. Michelle Dee
At the same Body Reset event, Michelle also revealed that she had a little bit of stubborn fat removed from her back after she won Miss Universe Philippines in 2023. Being under constant scrutiny because of the crown, addressing this area of concern gave her an extra boost of confidence to bring on her A-game during the contest.

8. Celeste Cortesi
Another Miss Universe Philippines who made a revelation at the Body Reset event, Celeste gamely asked "what do I mention first?" It turns out that two weeks before the Miss Universe 2022 coronation night, Dr. Vicki performed liposuction on the beauty queen's arms. "Two weeks is the minimum downtime," Dr. Vicki explained, noting that the two weeks notice was for the finale, and that the candidates were already expected to perform throughout the week leading up to the coronation. Luckily, Celeste's arms healed fast and it took only three days for her body to feel normal again.

9. Sofia Andres
With age, Sofia noticed that no matter how hard she worked her arms out, she wasn't getting the results she wanted. This, together with the "reality of her job" of needing to look perfect on screen, made her try the Barbie Arms procedure with The Aivee Clinic. This procedure targeted the excess fat deposits in her upper arms and it involved liposuction, contouring, and skin tightening.

10. Max Collins
In 2023, Max was one of the three celebrities who fronted Belo's 360 liposuction campaign. She shared that removing excess fat allowed her arms to appear more toned and defined. "As much as I would work out, I never really saw my arms getting defined," Max recounted,"But now, because there's less fat covering my arms, you can see the definition and what I worked hard for."

11. Dani Barretto
Dani's fitness transformation saw her through ups and downs, and one of the things that really kickstarted her journey is getting her 360 lipo for her arms and double chin. According to the content creator, this change led her to be more conscious about her lifestyle, prompting her to eat better and incorporate working out in her day to day routine.

12. Alodia Gosiengfiao
Completing the Belo 360 liposuction trio from 2023 is Alodia. The OG cosplayer and gamer needed an extra hand in making sure she "achieves the silhouettes" she's going for when dressing up, despite her slower rate of metabolism as compared to when she was younger.
