Last November 30 at Cetaphil's Bright & Radiant Thanksgiving Event with The Beauty Edit, Preview had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, who shared some insightful beauty advice.
She emphasized, "Allow yourself to be inspired by social media, but don't allow your beauty standards to be defined by it because it's constantly changing. If you try to keep up with the trend, what's perceived as 'in' right now, you'll feel like you have to constantly chase after an ideal that you'll never really grasp."
Catriona, a beacon of inspiration, grace, and beauty even outside her reign, expanded on her previous statement, stating, "See yourself for what you are. Look at how you would want to enhance that, whether it's learning the proper eyeshadow for your eye shape or embracing your skin tone or color. Allow those things to be what you're most proud of."

Second on Catriona’s list of best makeup products is the Strokes Microblade Pen Perfector. “It’s in my arsenal forever—the Strokes brow pen, and also the pencils. Like sobrang gusto ko siya, especially the felt liner. I use it as eyeliner. I use it as faux freckles. Like I throw it in my makeup kit to go everywhere for traveling.”

3. Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer
Third is the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer, which she loves to use whenever she’s traveling. “I tend to break out when I travel because I’m always trying to sleep in the car or in the plane, and I always end up putting my hands all over my face and I find that I tend to break out," she shared.
