Ellen Adarna is one of the few celebrities who doesn’t mind being candid on social media. Case in point: Back in December, she uploaded photos of herself playing around with a red lip liner and lipstick combo, in an attempt to overline her lips. Despite being a little too overdrawn, it was all in good fun for the actress.

Hilariously, she even teased her husband Derek Ramsey. “Overlined Red Lips lang ang katapat mo! @ramsayderek07,” she wrote in the caption. Derek replied in jest, “Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeèeeeeeeeeeeeew.” LOL!
Followers, including friends from the industry, also had a good laugh, including Small Laude, Verniece Enciso, and fashion designer Marc Rancy. Fellow actress Sarah Lahbati also sent a slew of laughing emojis her way.
Some netizens, however, may have gotten the wrong message from Ellen’s video, with one accusing her of throwing shade at people who got work done on their faces, like Hollywood A-lister Kylie Jenner, who also famously overlines her lips. In response to the commenter, Ellen had a straightforward reply.

“Lowkey shading people who have their own life, na parang ikaw hindi naman retokada yung mata. Haha. Oops,” wrote the basher. Ellen, unbothered, replied matter-of-factly, “Ikaw lang nag iisip nyan dai. We actually followed a Kylie Jenner overline lip tutorial reel and this is the result. Wag ka masyadong nega.”
ICYDK, Ellen has had no problem opening up about the different procedures she’s done in the past. In 2015, the actress got a breast augmentation. Then in 2022, she revealed that she decided to get her breast implants removed after experiencing breast implant illness (BII). She has also previously talked about getting Botox done on her nose to help her look good on camera during particularly emotional scenes, and how it helped prevent her nose from flaring while crying.
