Beauty junkies, we know unused makeup is a common sight in your drawers and vanity. Maybe you've been on the hunt for products that really work for you, or they got broken, and you can't use them anymore. Either way, we found a way to breathe new life to your pre-loved beauty finds: you can donate it to Pacific Center for Advance Studies mortuary school for their aspiring students to use.
Donate your unused or old makeup to this mortuary school
The Pacific Center for Advance Studies is a Department of Health-accredited mortuary school in the Philippines that originated in Cebu. They recently posted a call for donations, explaining that the unused makeup will be for the student morticians "to gain hands-on experience to ensure that [the] departed look their best."
According to the post, the donations will also "help students train their skills to sit the restorative art or cosmetology during their licensure exam."
They prefer to receive powdered makeup products, but they will also accept sturdy, cream-based products. You can drop off your donations anytime at the Cosmopolitan Memorial Chapels and Crematory.
If you can't drop it off in person, some people who are part of PCAS say that people can get it delivered via Grab or Lalamove.
