True K-drama fans know that a show won't be complete without the obligatory beauty product placement. It's admittedly one of our guilty pleasures to see how the producers will sneak it into a scene, and most of the time, we can't help being impressed by the subtlety. The novelty of the PPLs aside, we also just love finding out the products our favorite K-drama leading ladies are wearing on-camera. Cushion compacts by far top the list for the most frequently-featured product, and below, we run down the ones we spotted on the likes of Song Hye Kyo, Suzy Bae, and more!
1. Song Hye Kyo
In the 2016 hit Descendants of the Sun, Song Hye Kyo (who was then a Laneige ambassador) featured several of her makeup picks as Kang Mo Yeon. She was spotted touching up with the brand's ever-popular BB Cushion, which was the secret to her signature "no-makeup" makeup look in the show!

2. Suzy Bae
Tears were no match for the longwearing Lancôme cushion that Suzy Bae used on the eighth episode of Start-Up. It gave her a flawless matte finish right away, and in that moment we knew we had to have it, too! ICYDK, Suzy is the ambassador for Lancôme in Korea, so we'll probably be seeing more of the brand in her next K-drama.

3. Jeon Yeo Bin
If you can't cop Hong Cha Young's chic designer bags and outfits yet, using the same on-the-go base as the kickass lawyer should do for now. On Episode 19 of Vincenzo, we spotted actress Jeon Yeo Bin patting on some of Banila Co's Covericious Power Fit Longwear Cushion on her desk, then finishing it off with a vibrant cherry red lip color also from the brand.

4. Jun Ji Hyun
Jun Ji Hyun has this special power of making every beauty product she uses sell out. For example, back in 2013, IOPE's Air Cushion XP began selling like hotcakes when fans of My Love from the Star spotted it on the Korean actress. And to no one's surprise, the lip products she wore on the series also ended up having a similar fate.

5. Kim Hee Ae
When we saw Kim Hee Ae with this Cledbel compact on The World of the Married (which is the highest rating K-drama of all time, by the way), the unique V-shape on the cushion itself caught our eye. As it turns out, it's a tone-up cream that's meant to give you a rosy glow on top of the foundation's brightening and firming perks. It definitely like something that a woman as discerning as Ji Sun Woo would love!
