In a recent Instagram post, Aubrey can be seen spending some much-needed R&R at The Vineyard at Tanauan. Lounging poolside in a vibrant pink and green bikini from Pink Salmon Clothing, she proudly flaunted the stretch marks on her legs, something that she revealed used to be a point of ridicule when she was first starting out in showbiz.
“When I started in showbiz, I got judged and laughed at by some celebrities and media reporters because I have STRETCH MARKS on my legs,” she started. Despite being made fun of, Aubrey admits that it didn’t really bother her. “I tried to keep my composure because it didn’t really bother me. I was more concerned about having a fit and healthy physique. For me, having these marks is like having wounds or scars from playing, growing up. So it’s nothing to worry about,” she said.
Explaining further, she mentioned the irony of the situation and how the same people who used to make fun of her now have stretchmarks of their own. To this, she simply had to say: “Now you know. It’s ok to have them, it doesn’t make you a less kind, sexy or beautiful person.” Preach it, Aubrey!
