Though Arci Munoz’s Instagram feed is seemingly geotagged at Universal Studios Japan, her IG stories show otherwise. The star flew back to Manila in time for Park Seo Joon’s Fun Meet at Araneta Coliseum yesterday. An avid fan of Korean stars (whether that’s K-Pop of K-Drama heartthrobs), Arci came prepared and debuted a stylish new ‘do that definitely get her noticed.
The singer-actress showed off her new face-framing blunt curtain bangs in a series of Instagram stories on the way to the meet and seated at the event itself. The haircut is pretty distinct and is actually a favorite among K-pop stars like TWICE’s Momo and NewJean’s Minji and Haerin.
Called the “Hime” Cut, it’s a hairstyle that actually originated from Japan and directly translates to “Princess” Cut. This is because the hairstyle was worn by princesses and noble women in the Heian period of Japan from the year 785 - 1185.
