The moment you open a brand new mascara, you only have exactly three months to experience its lash wonders. After that, consider it expired—it's no longer 100% safe to use thanks to all the accumulated bacteria.
We know, throwing it away after such a short period of time does seem like a waste, but it's for your own good! The least you can do is try your best to make the most out of it so you won't have to dispose a barely-used tube. If this means using your mascara for more than just plumping your lashes, then so be it. How, you ask? Keep reading to find out!
1. Eyeliner
If your favorite mascara promises to be smudgeproof, then using it as eyeliner could yield you the same long-lasting effects. Dip your eyeliner brush onto the mascara wand to scrape some product and apply as you would a gel eyeliner!

2. Brow Gel
To keep your arches in place, brush them up with your mascara. A lengthening mascara usually works best for this purpose, since volumizing ones might look too thick and clumpy on the brows. Luckily, several brands offer mascara in other shades apart from black, so if you have brown (or even blue) hair, you're covered!

3. Temporary Gray Hair Coat
Plucking out a gray hair is a major no-no unless you want it to multiply. For a quick remedy, you can cover it up with mascara. A waterproof formula will last all day even if you sweat!
