5 Beauty Trends That Dominated the Red Carpet of ABS-CBN Ball 2018

Out of all the stunning beauty looks we saw tonight at the ABS-CBN Ball, there were five trends that instantly stood out as celebrity favorites. See them all below!

1. Sleek middle-parted hair

This was without a doubt the top hair trend on the red carpet this year, and everyone's interpretations remind us of Gigi Hadid's showstopping look at the recent Met Gala. Maris Racal, Yeng Constantino, Alex Gonzaga, and Gretchen Fullido were only some of the stars who wore the exact same look without donning a pin on both sides!

2. Side-parted hair

Meanwhile, other celebrities literally went the other direction with side-parted hairstyles. Vivoree Esclito, for one, did an off-center version of Gigi's 'do with a slight tweak that made all the difference. The same goes for Sarah Lahbati, who went for a subtler sweep. On the other hand, Nadine Lustre's loose lob is our effortless pick, and we totally love this new length on her!

3. Sleek low ponytail

Another popular sleek 'do was the clean low ponytail, as seen on Isabelle Daza, Kim Chiu, Kathryn Bernardo, and Morissette Amon.

4. Bangs

Whether it was faux or real, sporting a fringe was the breakout look for those who were out to try something new. Yassi Pressman's and Maxine Medina's bomshell waves, Julia Barretto's messy bun, and Miles Ocampo's extra long bangs were some of our favorites. That said, Jodi Sta. Maria's new cut and color with micro bangs was also a headturner!

5. Red lips

The chicest lipstick shade of the night? None other than a classic red. Liza Soberano and Yassi Pressman wore similar vampy hues, while Sue Ramirez and Bea Alonzo opted for brighter shades that added a pop of color to their looks.
